What can I expect at an EMI Church?

At EMI Taichung, you can expect to meet people who are fun, friendly, and flawed. We do not pretend to be perfect but seek to be authentic. You can expect to hear lively music, life empowering teaching, and discover a God who is loving, kind, and forgiving.

We have prepared a place for you

If this is your first visit to us, we are very happy to meet you. We know that you may be nervous, so let us tell you that when you come to EMI church you will find:

1. Casual Dress

2. Modern and lively music

3. Service time is 90 minutes

4. Kids are welcome

Sermon Series

The purpose of each series is to unpack the wonders of the Bible for our audience and show how real and relevant God's Word is in our daily lives. The Bible tells us who God is, why we exist, and how to bring meaning to our lives.

Small Groups

This weekly group activity has three goals:

1. To establish an environment that promotes friendship

2. To explore the Bible through engaging discussion

3. To participate in community activities once a quarter

Christian Education Courses

Our education courses are offered approximately once a month for three hours. These courses cover the basic principles of Christianity. Our aim  is that everyone can have a common understanding of how to live out our Christian faith in a practical way.
